It may seem strange for us to say, now that you are visiting our website, but there are many excellent reasons for not purchasing outdoor equipment, especially footwear, on the web.

Many of our products involve fitting and unless you know the product you are interested in intimately, fitting is guess work. Whilst you will survive a poorly fitted cagoule , boots can be a disaster.

Most of our products are produced for a specific purpose so matching the product to your needs requires sound advice after input from you. Magazine reviews are a guide, but can themselves be very subjective, and rarely review the group of products you are interested in.

By visiting our store you can obtain the correct advice, make an immediate purchasing decision and have the goods immediately: No time off work, sitting at home waiting for the bell to ring etc. Many Etailers wait for your order before they purchase the stock taking literally weeks to deliver.

Obviously people still find themselves unable to get to a suitable specialist shop and we will gladly supply any product apart from boots (the risk to you and to our reputation as boot fitters is too great). We would however still prefer to offer advice before you buy, it could well save you money.
